My time plan, due to being largely amorpheous in construction aside from suggestions of what to work on at each point hasn’t needed large amounts of updating, however, documenting how parts of it have shifted around is useful to look at with hindsight and see how things actually played out so I have created a version 2 that roughly outlines what I actually did to compare and modify for future plans in reflection.
In addition to the initial time plan I have made continuous small time plans for daily and weekly tasks to complete on Notes and Microsoft ToDo after reflecting on the previous week. This helps me to stay on track by reminding me of available things to do and giving me digestible tasks to complete individually on time scales that make sense at the time. For me personally, having a massive list of tasks to do that I can continuously check off helps me not to stress about things as much and stops procrastination by searching for ‘the best’ thing to do or worrying about whether there’s something more important to be doing. Having the list also almost auto-sorts the priority of tasks and the situation of the tasks because whenever I feel like working I can just refer to the list and work in whatever comes to hand at that point. Tasks that I need to go out of my way to complete therefore rise organically to the top of the to do list and can be pruned off in dedicated time. Overall, this planning method allows my ‘not-so-little and often’ approach to working to work with the least amount of stress to me. ToDo also allows recurring tasks that I can set to come back every week/month/2 months etc to stay organised.
